Stay away from Greg Eade. I had an emergency mortgage situation. My lawyer recommended Greg. I had met him before and thought he seemed decent but it turned out I was wrong. Yes he was able to save my house and get me back in. (Long story which I will be sharing fully on my Facebook page and LinkedIn shortly.). He found me a private lender. The deal was they would pay off the previous mortgage and I would have one month to get the house on the market. I agreed. What Greg did not disclose to me was he had a conflict of interest with the lender, which he is required to do by law. I will be making a formal complaint to FSCO about this. He recommended his pal Marcel Leclerc of Halton Heritage Realty to handle the sale. See my review for how that turned out. When I declined to used people Marcel recommended to clean up the house and get it ready for sale Greg left me a nasty message about it. Excuse me for not wanting strangers going through my things or not wanting to spend thousands of dollars to do what I could do myself with the much cheaper help of friends. I was also pushed. to be ready before the agreed 1 month.  The mortgage I signed with BFT Capital was also not what was agreed to. I also question the legality of it and am taking the matter back to court. (Warning to whoever bought my house you are about to be embroiled in a legal battle and might want to rethink the purchase) The lawyer for BFT Capital, Ross Mcleod, in Hamilton is currently facing charges of misconduct for "participating in or helping his private lender clients to commit fraud". I believe I am another of his victims.  Stay away from Greg Eade. He is not as honest as he comes off as being. He needs to be put out  of business.

The response from the owner came about a year after my review. It is an utter lie. BFT Capital was the private lender and I have written proof of this. BFT Capital showed on there website at the time that Mark Eade was part of their group. This mortgage company are outright liiars.
